Although our football team still cant achieve the World Cup level, Subkhiddin Mohd Salleh selection as one of the 30 referees to adjudicate major championship matches at this coming World Cup should be proud of.
World Cup will be held in South Africa and kick off began on June 11 2010. Opening match will hosted by home team against Mexico and what is the most awaited, the match refereed by Malaysia [game?? not sure yet...]

Four Asian referee trios appointed for FWC
The FIFA Referees Committee met on Friday to announce the appointments. A total of 30 referees representing 28 different countries will be in action for the world showcase of football.
The group of 30 trios of referees selected will participate in a training seminar next month.
In May, a final assessment will be conducted and a decision made regarding the acting and support referees prior to the first match appointments being made for the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa.
