VIRGO (AUGUST 23–SEPTEMBER 22)

Mirror, mirror on the wall, who’s under the most self-scrutiny of all? That’s you, especially as Saturn enters your sign on the 2nd. Take a look at yourself and kiss good-bye those areas of your life that have taken a bite of the poisoned apple. Change your image a bit—try a new hairstyle, ditch that T-shirt rut, or put on superhigh stilettos. Whatever change you choose will reflect positively on you for years to come. Put a mirror outside for three days, reflective side up. It’ll absorb the rays of the autumn Sun in order to return beauty back to you. Bring the mirror inside and hold it in front of you for three minutes. You’ll see the brightest and, yes, the fairest of them all!

September is brimming over with events that could change your life, goals and perspective – so much so that getting things organised could take months. But then, that’s what Saturn’s move into Virgo is all about – although it may be a different kind of organising from what you’re used to. This could involve a new setting or mean that your goals are in transition. Knowing this, resist the temptation to impose order on the unexpected. Instead, stand back and watch what develops if things are left to themselves. Even what seems challenging could prove intriguing.

Saturn enters your sign on the 2nd, kicking off a two-and-a-half-year cycle during which your life as a Meg Ryan romantic comedy turns Bergman-esque. But that could be a good thing, especially for accomplishing work or relationship goals. A solar eclipse in your sign on the 11th gets the ball rolling, with Mars turbo-charging your career sector.

MR VIRGO’S YEAR AHEAD

This man is such hard work, but 9th September will show you what needs to change in order to move forward. He’s had amazing opportunities to move or renovate this year; if he’s still undecided, make him act now. Still together at Christmas? Pay attention to the evening of 18th December, when a child’s present or a pregnancy have special significance. Each Virgo man will bring children into his life by 2008, either as first-time dads or substitute parents.

  3. Virgo Man:

The Virgo man has a cool exterior with a sensitive interior. He has tremendous respect for a woman and will treat her like and equal. He likes woman who stir his emotions because he is reluctant to express his own emotions, which he tries and this often causes conflict not just inside himself, but it spills out into the relationship. This man takes patience and understanding. He will not get extremely close so do not try to enter his psyche and become closely entangled, this will make him feel threatened. He needs a classy woman who is not impulsive or unconventional. He leads a predictable life and a predictable woman will make him feel safe. He is perfect for the down to earth, conventional woman. He won't be romantic and sweep you off your feet, but he will be by your side and be very loyal. This man's sensuality comes out with time. For the woman who wants a stable, solid relationship with a visible, smooth sailing future is perfect for the Virgo man.
